Supercharging
For a number of years since my involvment in the TVR Typhon at the factory I have been looking at possibility of supercharging a production TVR. This is a project that has taken over two years to bring to fruition and has involved looking at every area of the speed six engine to maximise the reliability with a supercharger installed. The engine contains many one off bespoke parts, using the very latest technologies and coatings with various engineering modifications and improvements which can be utilised with the road or race engine.
The extremes that the supercharger introduces has presented us with many challenges with which we have worked with leading companies to meet. Everything for this engine has been made specifically for the task and not modified from a road part. All the mounting and pulley system
is CAD drawn and CNC machined with a hard anodised coating. All fabrication work is carried out to the highest standard which also helps to give the conversion its quality asthetic appearance.
