Engine rebuilding and upgrades
With over 18 years engine building experience and over 700 TVR engine rebuilds to my name we can claim to be the most experienced TVR specialist in the marketplace today. We cater for all TVR models, whether its a Griffith 500 V8 or a Tuscan Speed Six we will rebuild your engine using the care and attention to detail that has gained our company the reputation for excellance it has today.
Our standard Speed Six rebuild involves:
Full engine strip down, with all parts thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Cylinder head decoked and checked for valve seat deteration and valve guide wear. If found to be worn the guides are replaced and the valve seats machined to suit three angles. The cylinder liners are checked for signs of rotation and ovality and then ball hone finished. The crankshaft is crack tested, checked for size and polished.

All STR8 SIX oil gallery modifications are then carried out to the cylinder head and block. The engine then put back together using stainless steel bolts to the engine casings and setup to the latest specifications.

Race engine preparation
We can offer anything from a refresh to your Tuscan Challenge V8 to a full blown GT spec Speed Six. The AJP V8 Challenge engine can be made more reliable for its race application with various modifications and upgrades, or we can modify a road V8 for a race application. The Speed Six can be built in various race guises, from fast road to 24hr GT spec depending on budget and application.
