TVR Chimaera Mk2 500 “Formula Red” Restored

This lovely Mk2 TVR Chimaera 500 has been owned by its last custodian since March 2017. During his ownership he decided to carry out a full body off chassis rebuild inc new suspension etc. As you can see from the photographs this is still in outstanding condition and should remain that way if cared for correctly by its next owner.
Outside the Ferrari Formula Red paintwork is immaculate and unmarked, the original Estoril wheels have been refurbished and fitted with Toyo tyres. The hood is black Mohair and in lovely condition.
Inside the original Flint grey interior is in excellent condition with a Momo half leather, half wooden steering wheel. The wood veneer dash is immaculate and fitted with the original white face TVR gauges. The stereo is a Kenwood Mask system which was state of the art in the late 90's and a very cool addition to the interior.
Benefitting from not only being a 5 litre but also a Mk2 with the later grille and rear bumper. It is fitted with the serpentine engine and T5 gearbox which give the most reliability.
There is a large file with information about the rebuild and the car comes with its original TVR service file and service documents dating back to 2007. However these are quite sparse and have not been well documented over the years.
The car comes with Str8sixs "all the 12s". 12,000 mile service, 12 months MOT, 12 months FULL WEAR and TEAR WARRANTY covering (PARTS and LABOUR). It will also come with 6 months TAX. It will also be provided with a hard wired trickle charger.
