TVR Tuscan 4.0 S Mk3 Targa. “Tungsten Silver”

RB06 TVR is a rare example of one of TVR’s two final “Halo” Supercar Sportscars. This stunning “Wavy Dashboard” Mk3 Tuscan 4.0S - engined Targa was built in the early part of 2006.
Str8six originally purchased this car in 2017 from a Porsche Specialist that had taken it in p/ex. However, on arrival at Str8six, the car’s engine was found to be slightly noisy when cold. No other dealer’s paperwork commented on that!! And indeed, most people would probably not have noticed this. The engine was removed and stripped, revealing 9 thousandths ovality - in one cylinder bore only. This was a fault with the interference fit of No5 cylinder’s liner. So, all 6 liners were replaced and the engine’s bottom end was rebuilt. At the same time, all the Speed Six oil and coolant modifications were incorporated, and upgraded half time bearings were fitted.
We then continued with our usual preparation - carrying out a full 12,000 mile service, fitting new suspension and brake components, new coolant, oil and fuel hoses and completing a full Optiline 4 wheel geometry set up. The car has been very carefully prepared in all areas so that not only does it look absolutely beautiful, it is also technically fully fit to carry Str8six’s Warranty. The car was then sold to a Bristol based customer who looked after the car through Colin at TVRSW. Roll on 8 years and we have purchased the car back.
RB06 TVR is currently going through our workshop having a 12,000 mile service, PDI, new tyres and 4 wheel alignment ready for its next owner.
This car is finished in very rare Aston Martin Tungsten Silver. The interior is trimmed in Portland and Heron grey with silver grey stitching. The carpets are in light grey with grey binding. The doors are finished in two shades of grey leather and the Targa roof panel’s headlining is pale grey Alcantara. The car rides on pristine Silver Spider alloys fitted with 2026 Toyo Proxes Sport 2 tyres. Air Conditioning is installed.
The entire car is factory standard - other than for the Str8six engine upgrades and the following improvements: Gas discharge dipped beam headlamp units; Stainless steel wheel nuts; Nitron Shock absorbers; Polished stainless steel rear exhaust silencers and a Sony Bluetooth DAB sound system with Alpine door and parcel shelf speakers.
This Tuscan will, of course, be supplied with Str8six's renowned "All the 12's" handover specification. The car has already had a full Pre Delivery Inspection and a 12,000 miles (with valve clearance) service. It will receive 6 months road fund licence, 12 months MOT and our 12 months/12,000 miles FULL WEAR AND TEAR WARRANTY (covering parts and labour). It will be also be supplied with a hard wired 12 Volt trickle charger and with an Anderson jump lead cable.
